Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier to ring up purchases, greet customers, and provide friendly service. You will maintain shelf presentation, stay knowledgeable about products, and assist customers in choosing items.

You will promote CLUB Membership and in-store pick-up while delivering a high-quality shopping experience. The role emphasizes accuracy with the POS system, effective communication, and teamwork within store operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Check out customers' merchandise through the POS registers and assist with customer service.
• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt, friendly manner; upsell and promote programs including CLUB Membership and in-store pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up product; maintain product knowledge and awareness of advertised sales.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time by identifying needs and offering product recommendations.
