Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier to ring up merchandise at the POS, greet customers warmly, and assist with purchases. The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and participation in store programs such as CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

Responsibilities include stocking, customer assistance, and upselling where appropriate, while maintaining a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. This position supports team goals and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Friendly, professional communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Process purchases through POS registers accurately.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up customers.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and giving product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
