Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier in the United States. The role involves checking out customers at the POS, greeting shoppers, and providing friendly service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

You will identify customer needs, suggest products, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership and in-store pickup. Responsibilities include stocking shelves when not at the register and maintaining product knowledge while handling transactions accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products
• Stock and straighten shelves and pegs in the immediate area when not ringing up product
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up
