Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a friendly Retail Cashier to join our Washington Store - Hwy 100. This hourly full-time role offers a starting rate of $15.50 per hour with up to $250/month in bonus potential and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash with accuracy, and contribute to a clean, organized store environment while promoting the mission of changing lives through the power of work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• Effective communication with customers and co-workers.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse population.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist on the sales floor.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions, and balance cash.
• Stock and maintain store cleanliness; rotate inventory as needed.
• Answer phone with a professional greeting and assist with returns or exchanges as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Support teamwork and cross-functional communication with other store teams.
