Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Cashier for the Rolla store to deliver friendly, efficient service on the sales floor. You will operate the cash register, process transactions, greet customers, and help maintain store appearance and organization throughout your shift.

We offer full-time hourly work at $15.50 per hour, with a monthly bonus up to $250, plus medical, dental/vision, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter, assist on the sales floor, and answer the phone professionally.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit card transactions, discounts, and balancing.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store area.
