Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Retail Cashier to deliver a positive guest experience through efficient store operations. You will stock merchandise, process transactions, and greet guests with a smile, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere across multiple resort locations.

Retail Cashier

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Retail Cashier. In this role, you will deliver a positive guest experience that exceeds expectations through effective, efficient retail operations. Assist with stocking merchandise, handling transactions, and most importantly, making all guests feel welcome with a smile and warm greeting upon entering the store.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Pay Rate: $14-$16/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Greet each guest with a friendly, warm welcome.
• Offer product knowledge to ensure sales are completed.

• Background consisting of previous experience in retail, customer service or sales environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Possible heavy inventory workloads; exerting up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Maintain a high‑energy level to be able to stand on your feet throughout the day on the retail/sales floor.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
