Position Type: Hourly Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Bonus Pay: Up to $250/month

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

1. Make customers a priority by greeting and acknowledging them as they enter the store, helping on the sales floor, and answering the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
2. Operate the store cash register: handle cash, credit card transactions, process discounts, and balance the register.
3. Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the entire store area efficiently and to standard.
4. Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
5. Uphold store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
6. Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership; work cross-functionally to increase communication.
7. Utilize safe work practices through awareness and observation.
8. Contribute to a hazard-free workplace by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and walkways debris-free.
9. Maintain a professional appearance at all times, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
10. Safeguard agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft; report any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession.
11. Adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
12. Perform any other duties as assigned.
