Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Cashier in Delaware, OH. You will greet customers, ring up transactions, and support community programs through the Change Round Up initiative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus (6 months preferred).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner (in person and by phone).
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts.
• Promote the Change Round Up program to fuel community impact.
• Keep the checkout area and front of store clean and organized.
• Bag and wrap merchandise with care.
• Assist with merchandise displays, stocking, and returns to the sales floor.
• Support store promotions, signage, and seasonal campaigns.
• Contribute to store safety, security, and team goals.
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed.
