Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a friendly cashier for its Lewis Center, OH location. You will greet customers, process transactions at the register, and promote the Change Round Up program to support community programs.

Role emphasizes accurate cash handling, front-end cleanliness, and collaboration with the team to meet store goals. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus, with a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus (6 months preferred).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner (in person and by phone).
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts.
• Promote Goodwill’s “Change Round Up” program to fuel community impact.
• Keep the checkout area and front of store clean and organized.
• Bag and wrap merchandise with care.
• Assist with merchandise displays, stocking, and returns to the sales floor.
• Support store promotions, signage, and seasonal campaigns.
• Contribute to store safety, security, and team goals.
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed.
