Qualifications

• Basic cash handling and math skills.
• Familiarity with tender policies and payment methods.
• Knowledge of state laws on sale of restricted items (alcohol, tobacco, lottery).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process Western Union, money orders, lottery, coin redemptions, refunds, and equipment rentals.
• Prepare cash/check deposits and maintain store financial records and logs.
• Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist cashiers and handle office tasks and phone calls.
• Adhere to tender policies and safety procedures; stay compliant with AML rules.
• Know product codes, ads, and special items for quick checkout.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and handle complaints.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety standards.
