Job summary

First Financial Bank in Montgomery, Texas, seeks an experienced leader to oversee Office Retail Operations, including New Accounts, Tellers, and Customer Service. The role requires six years in retail banking with two in management, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, travel for training, and support weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Six years of retail banking experience, two of which must be in management.
• Four-year college degree in business/finance is a competitive advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-starter mentality.
• Ability to supervise staff of at least five employees and daily operations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as business requires.
• Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
• Saturday and holiday hours may be required depending on location.
• Demonstrate aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• General supervision of all Office Retail Operations (New Accounts, Tellers, CDs, Safe Deposit, Bookkeeping inquiries, and Customer Service).
• Hire, coach, counsel, and support retail staff in sales, customer service and work detail.
• May be assigned to the officer call program.
• Actively participate in the sales and service culture, support bank policies and procedures.
• Travel for training to Abilene or other regions as required.
• Support branch hours including Saturdays/holidays where applicable.
