Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of retail or banking experience required; two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic math proficiency and aptitude.
• Demonstrated academic record of achievement in social and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transaction and customer relationships.
• Professional appearance & demeanor.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as business requires.
• Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
• Saturday hours and holiday hours may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Read terminal screens and communicate effectively with customers and staff, verbally and in writing.
• Transport money from vault to teller drawer and assist with cash handling (approx. 20 pounds).
• Operate computer terminals and visit customers at retail locations; maintain access to the facility.
• Learn and understand the AS400 computer system to perform required functions.
• Travel periodically to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training as needed.
• Work flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays based on branch hours.
