Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Alabama seeks a Retail Branch Manager I to grow consumer and business relationships, lead store teams, and enhance customer experience across branches in the Montgomery area.

The role includes developing sales strategies, recruiting and coaching staff, and driving community involvement while maintaining high standards of compliance and service. Full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience leading and directing the activities of a sales team is required.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by identifying and recommending banking products and services.
• Recruit, train, retain and motivate staff to meet profitability and growth objectives.
• Develop strategies to grow consumer and business relationships and deposits.
• Lead community engagement initiatives with the Community Development Relationship Manager.
• Drive a technology-driven customer experience and ensure excellent customer interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies while handling sensitive information.
