Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Retail Branch Manager I in Alabama-Cullman to lead branch sales and relationships with customers and partners. You will recruit and develop staff, drive deposits and loans, promote the Woodforest Experience, and partner with local organizations to strengthen the community.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience leading and directing the activities of a sales team is required.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred, but not required.
• We prefer candidates who reside within our community.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by marketing and recommending banking products and services.
• Recruit, train, retain and motivate staff to ensure profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives for assigned branches within the region.
• Develop and lead innovative strategies to grow, retain and deepen consumer and business relationships.
• Proactively grow business deposits and loans through inside and outside business calling.
• Enhance customer experience and the reputation of the Bank by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with retail partners and customers.
• Lead a community engagement strategy with a Community Development Relationship Manager to be an engaged community partner.
