Retail Banking Supervisor - Sioux Falls First Dakota National Bank is seeking a full-time Retail Banking Supervisor to join our Sioux Falls team. This person supervises and coordinates activities of Tellers and Universal Bankers at their location. Supports and engages in the Bank’s philosophy for exceptional customer services and is responsible for building strong employee relationships through training, coaching and mentoring. Develops subordinates’ skills and encourages their growth, gives positive feedback and manages subordinates’ schedules. Responds to internal/external customer inquiries and provides support. Knowledge of Frist Dakota products and service is required along with strong organization skills, a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment. Hours include Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. Duties

Assigns duties and work schedules to workers to ensure efficient functioning of department Trains employees in customer service and banking procedures Lead retail staff at their location by identifying opportunities and coordinating staff actions toward expanding existing relationship and identifying additional opportunities to increase profitable services per account and/or household. Lead and coach retails staff in a manner that will help ensure a culture that promotes teamwork and a high level of employee morale. Examines Tellers' reports of daily transactions for accuracy Consolidates and balances daily transactions Ensures supply of money for financial institution's needs based on legal requirements and business demand Monitors and reviews financial institution's security procedures and control access to vault Issues written and oral instructions Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances Act in accordance with ‘First Dakota National Bank Customer Service Standards’ and provide exceptional customer service with every customer and employee interaction Responsible for staff annual reviews and coaching sessions Establish and update new hire training schedule; delegating training assistance as necessary and appropriate Ensure customer confidentiality by all team members Responsible for resolution to external customer contact escalation and customer complaints Lead and be an active participant in all meetings and developmental training sessions Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training Other duties as assigned
