Job summary

Capital City Bank in Newberry, FL is seeking a Retail Banker to provide friendly service, open/close accounts, and cross-sell products. You will guide clients through banking options, handle routine transactions, and educate about fraud prevention.

This full-time role requires 18+ years old with strong interpersonal skills and basic math ability. Some college is preferred; banking knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in client service, sales or cash handling is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client and partner communication.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Ability to count cash accurately and maintain cash drawer.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Sales, retail and/or referral experience is preferable.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of Capital City Bank products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Opens, closes, services and supports all accounts, products and services.
• Cross-sells Bank products and services to new and existing clients.
• Responds to client questions quickly, courteously and professionally.
• Educates clients regarding ID fraud and phishing scams.
• Processes consumer and commercial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, checks, wires, etc.).
• Keeps cash secure and balances cash drawer daily.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
