Job summary

Indiana Members Credit Union in Carmel, IN is seeking a Teller who will be the primary contact for members, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and basic transactions with accuracy and security. You will maintain cash controls, comply with regulations, identify members' needs and promote credit union products, while delivering friendly, professional service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, cash handling and customer service experience, fluent English, basic computer

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Previous cash handling and customer service experience.
Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.
Basic computer and technology skills.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Honest, accountable, maintains confidentiality.
Familiarity with core banking systems, CRM and imaging after training.

Responsibilities

Process deposits, withdrawals, loans and various payments; issue money orders and checks; assist with cross-selling other products; update member accounts; handle member problems and complaints; initiate wire transfers; complete payroll deduction and direct deposit forms.
