Job summary

Brightline Trains in Orlando is seeking a friendly Retail Attendant to help guests find gifts, souvenirs, and supplies to enhance their ride. You’ll own your zone, learn, and bounce back from setbacks in a fast-paced transit environment.

You’ll deliver attentive service, support merchandising, monitor safety, and stay connected with internal communications to ensure guests have a bright experience.

Qualifications

• Natural people person with experience in retail, food, or beverage sales.
• Positive attitude for long hours, adaptable communication.
• Able to stand and be on feet for hours; physical stamina.
• Basic math skills.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As an essential member of the Brightline Station Operations team, you are an integral part of our guests’ journey. Pay rate - $20.00 an hour

Essential Job Functions:

• Customer Service: Provide attentive and detailed service to all guests; use suggestive selling techniques when referring to menu options and retail offerings, and cordially share information about our Company services and destinations.
• Merchandising: Responsible for maintaining and managing how merchandise in our market is displayed to drive both revenue and guest experience.
• Loss Prevention: Be aware of guests' behaviors and raise an alarm to the security team in the event of suspicious activity.
• Communication: Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet, bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.

Your Qualifications:

• You are a natural people person, comfortable with either retail, food, or beverage sales.
• Staying positive for hours on end (including in stressful times), you adapt your communication style to fit a diverse group of people.
• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and being on your feet for hours on end is something you are able to do.
• While you don’t have to be a mathematician, you possess basic math skills.
• You are a minimum of 18 years old.
• You are able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
