Job summary

Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk seeks a Retail Attendant who loves guest service, wine, and hospitality. You will greet guests, educate them about wines and the Wine Club, and help create memorable experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Maintain knowledge of menus and retail items, stock and organize the workspace, and assist with hosting, carryout, and curbside orders. You will work with a team to deliver exceptional service while supporting sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience in a casual dining, upscale dining, or retail sales environment preferred.
• Wine knowledge or experience in a wine-focused environment preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork.
• Comfort inviting guests to join the Wine Club.
• POS system experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.
• Comfort working weekends, holidays and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and engage them to enhance their experience.
• Maintain full knowledge of Piccolo Buco’s menu, retail items, wines, Wine of the Month, and Wine Club events.
• Keep the workstation stocked, organized, and prepared for opening or mid-shift.
• Restock wine and merchandise promptly and ensure displays are attractive.
• Assist with hosting, service, or carryout/curbside orders when needed.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately and per standards.
• Communicate with teammates and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The Retail Attendant at Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk has a passion for guest service, food, wine, and hospitality. You create memorable experiences through efficient, friendly, and team-based service while educating guests about our products, wines, and Wine Club. Your goal is not only to serve but also to connect; inviting guests to join our growing Wine Club community and ensuring every visit is worth returning for.

Pay Range: $15 - $18 per hour. Pay offered is determined by skills, qualifications and experience.
