Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in New Haven, IN is hiring a Retail Associate for a NEW STORE opening. This part-time role pays $13.50 per hour and requires 18 hours weekly, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will greet customers, process sales, assist donors, and help prepare donated merchandise while providing a welcoming shopping experience. Training is provided, with ongoing coaching and a chance to build retail and customer service skills in a mission-driven environment that

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly customer service.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift or move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors with donations according to center policy.
• Sort, process, hang, tag, price and prepare donated merchandise.

What You’ll Do
