Job summary

Michaels Stores in Plainview, NY is hiring a friendly Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and provide fast checkout. You will perform truck unloading, stocking, and planograms while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise in-stock and assist with returns/go back process and store recovery.
