Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Customer Service Associate to be the first point of contact for customers, help maintain planograms, and stock merchandise to maximize profitability and satisfaction. You will unload trucks, greet customers, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

You will assist with receiving, scanning, placing orders, and keeping displays neat while following company policies and protecting assets. This role supports teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases and bag items.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store clean including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
