Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary customer contact, stock merchandise, and assist shoppers in finding items. The role includes operating the cash register, processing payments, and maintaining clean, organized shelves throughout a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, building displays, and following company policies while delivering friendly service.

Qualificações

Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

Unload trucks.
Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise or move to sales floor.
Build merchandise displays and stock shelves, rotate and face items.
Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating products.
Operate cash register and bag items, collect payment and give change.
Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
Maintain cleanliness of store and assist with sidewalk displays as needed.
