Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support daily store operations, assist customers and donors, and help on the sales floor.

This role requires reliability, basic math for cash handling, and teamwork, with weekend availability and potential forklift certification where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service, retail, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with frequent interruptions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Some locations may require forklift operation (certification provided if needed within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist customers and donors in a professional, friendly manner

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time hours
• Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required
