Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store or stock items on sales floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays; rotate stock and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating products.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep front end clean; help set up sidewalk displays when required.
• Comply with company policies and protect store assets.
