Family Farm and Home is seeking a Team Member to join our retail store team. You will greet customers, assist with day-to-day tasks, stock products, and operate the register to support a high level of service.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. You may work weekends, evenings, and holidays while upholding store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Clear and effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail environment.
• Basic computer skills for point-of-sale and store systems.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operates forklift/pallet jack safely (where trained).

Responsibilities

• Promote the store's mission and family values.
• Execute daily store goals and priorities set by management.
• Receive tasks from corporate office and store leadership.
• Greet customers and assist with in-store and online shopping.
• Encourage enrollment in loyalty programs and financing options.
• Answer phones professionally and process special orders.
• Use POS to checkout and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist in store layout and promotional signage.
• Support stock, back stock, and recovery processes.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support audits, safety, and loss prevention measures.
• Assist in building displays and fixtures.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
