Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

The role involves greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending product solutions, and ensuring a Legendary shopping experience. The position may require working varied hours, including nights and weekends, with duties spanning merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs & wants; recommend product solutions; ask to add value & appreciate the customer.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, Plan-o-gram procedures, price changes and markdowns.
• Load purchases for customers and help with loading and unloading as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including poultry holding areas and birds.
