Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate for TJ Maxx in Chicago. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience while maintaining store standards and assisting across departments as needed.

You will engage customers, process transactions accurately, promote loyalty programs, and support loss prevention and safety initiatives. A friendly, detail-oriented team player with flexible availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and procedures for the sales floor.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store as a whole.
• Provides and accepts feedback and recognition.
• Complies with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
