Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to help create memorable in-store experiences. You will engage customers, answer questions about product features and availability, and make compelling recommendations while supporting store leadership in delivering the brand’s customer service standards.

You’ll keep shelves neat, manage inventory flow, and perform cash register transactions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience or less in a position or specialization.
• Experience operating Inventory and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing consumer questions and issues about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with customers to understand needs and preferences.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor or stockroom.
• Perform all required cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing product flow in the stores.
