Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys is seeking a customer‑focused team member to support front‑end operations, cashier duties, and store maintenance. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

A positive attitude and the ability to work with donors and staff are essential. You will participate in promotional activities, assist in training new cashiers, and follow safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or by phone in a prompt, friendly manner and provide world‑class service.
• Operate the cash register or POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with proper promotions and discounts.
• Support the Round Up program to fund store mission.
• Keep the front of store clean and organized, stock shelves, and display merchandise.
• Assist with promotions and signage and help with training new cashiers.
• Maintain security of cash receipts and adhere to safety practices.
• Perform duties as assigned by management and participate in trainings.
