Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to help customers have a positive shopping experience through friendly greetings, eye contact, and knowledgeable service on the sales floor.

You will keep merchandise appealing, maintain clean areas, assist with merchandise replenishment, and support store operations throughout your shift to help meet goals and deliver the Ross brand promise.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by staying alert and following safety protocols.
• Greets all Customers and assists with merchandise questions in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company’s dress code at all times.
• Performs cleaning tasks and replenishes supplies to keep the store neat and presentable.
• Assists in merchandising, stock replenishment, and daily store readiness.
