Job summary

East Coast Cannabis is seeking Retail Associates, affectionately called Cannasseurs, to be the heart of our dispensary experience. You’ll create welcoming, educational, and memorable interactions with every guest.

You’ll guide product selection, verify eligibility per state rules, process transactions on our POS, maintain store presentation, and collaborate with leadership to hit sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service as a budtender while upholding ECC standards.
• Guide guests through product selection with warmth and professionalism.
• Verify customer eligibility per state regulations and ECC compliance.
• Build orders, process transactions, and navigate the POS with accuracy.
• Develop knowledge of ECC products, strains, and effects to share recommendations.
• Support daily retail operations, including inventory counts, restocking, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Assist with menu updates, product displays, and in-store educational materials.
• Follow all security and compliance procedures at all times.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment with daily upkeep.
• Collaborate with Retail Leadership to achieve sales goals and support brand initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• As a budtender, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while upholding the standards that make ECC a trusted name in the industry.
• Provide outstanding customer service and guide guests through product selection with warmth, professionalism, and integrity.
• Verify customer eligibility in accordance with state regulations and ECC compliance standards.
• Accurately build orders, process transactions, and navigate our POS system with attention to detail.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of ECC products, strains, and effects, confidently sharing information and recommendations.
• Support daily retail operations including phone inquiries, inventory counts, restocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation.
• Assist with menu updates, product displays, and in-store educational materials.
• Follow all security protocols and compliance procedures at all times.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, including daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Retail Leadership to achieve sales goals and support brand initiatives.

Schedule & Availability

• Our dispensary is open 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
• This role requires a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Weekend availability is essential.
