Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Apparel Processor to sort, tag, and process donated apparel. You will ensure quality standards for soft-line departments while welcoming customers and donors as part of our mission-driven team.

This part-time, hourly role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and a positive customer experience, with opportunities for daily pay and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Good people skills.
• Able to identify different shades and tones of color.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay knowledgeable of brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
• Sorts apparel into salable and salvage categories. Checks for tears, stains, wetness, smell, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons; items must be flaw-free.
• Hangs and tags quality donations quickly, according to agency standards, while meeting or exceeding production targets.
• Maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition; station ready for the next shift.
• Embody DGR MODE Guiding Principles.
• Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines; addresses safety concerns with supervisor and team.
• Other duties as assigned.
