Job summary

The Sioux Falls Skyforce is hiring a Retail Associate to support game-day operations in the team retail store. You will assist with setup, lead sales efforts, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming, efficient shopping experience for guests.

No prior experience is required, but you should be proactive, friendly, and able to work varied hours including evenings and weekends. This on-site role offers hands-on exposure to retail, order fulfillment, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar operations

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management practices, including receiving, stocking, merchandising, and conducting inventory counts.
• Skill in visual merchandising and maintaining organized, visually appealing product displays.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests by greeting, assisting, and guiding them through merchandise selections in the team retail store
• Operate point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and other accepted forms of payment
• Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays, shelving, and store layout in accordance with established standards
• Restock inventory on the sales floor, monitor product levels, and communicate stock needs to the appropriate team members
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, tagging, and organizing incoming merchandise shipments
• Support game day and event retail operations, including extended hours, high-volume sales periods, and temporary retail locations throughout the venue
• Uphold loss prevention policies and procedures by maintaining awareness of the sales floor and securing merchandise appropriately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for guests and fellow team members at all times

The Sioux Falls Skyforce Game Operations team is hiring a Retail Associate! This role would be responsible for assisting with game-day setup while taking the lead in sales efforts and managing active inventory. Seeking driven and self-starting individuals looking for experience in retail sales, specifically operations, order fulfillment, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar. Prior experience is not necessary.
