The Sioux Falls Skyforce Game Operations department is hiring an In-Arena Emcee! This role would be responsible for hosting promotions on the court, interacting with fans, and executing game operations tasks. The on-court emcee works closely with game operations and is required to memorize lines, talk in front of crowds, and organize small groups of people. Seeking an individual who can bring energy and maintain composure under bright lights.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of professional basketball game-day operations, in-arena entertainment programming, and live event production workflows. Knowledge of NBA rules, game flow, player rosters, and basketball terminology sufficient to provide accurate and timely commentary during live play. Knowledge of entertainment industry trends, audience engagement strategies, and best practices for live hosting within professional sports venues.
