Fortune Fish & Gourmet Minnesota is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to join our Coastal Seafood Stores in Minneapolis. You will provide exceptional customer service, greet customers, cut and pack orders, and handle POS transactions in a fast-paced environment.

The Retail Sales Associateis responsible for achieving sales goals by sharing your knowledge and passion of our seafood products in a polite, professional and efficient manner. The position requires the delivery of exceptional customer service, including but not limited to; providing a comfortable shopping experience, greeting customers, cutting and packing orders, answering questions, point-of-sale entry and handling payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with effective communication skills.
• Effectively manage time and organize workflow to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit ability to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Handle product properly to ensure maximum shelf life and sanitation.
• Inform supervisor of any product or safety concerns.
• Clean-up work station and department at the end of shift.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
