Job summary

ExplorUS is seeking enthusiastic individuals for customer service roles at The Lodge at Mammoth Cave. Responsibilities include providing excellent service and maintaining displays in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have retail experience and a passion for engaging with customers.

You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for enhancing visitor experiences within the beautiful Mammoth Cave National Park.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with others.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

The Lodge at Mammoth Cave (MCNP ONP, LLC) operates a variety of Food Services, Retail, Lodging and Bus Transportation within the beautiful National Park! If you are looking for a unique place to work and have a passion for providing customer service, this is the spot for you!

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service
• Process and collect payments
• Restock and maintain displays
• Participate in closing, opening procedures
• Participate in daily cleaning/maintenance duties

Position Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with others
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
• Able to lift frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Position also involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting and up to 8 hours per day on feet in a fast paced environment.

Education and Experience

• Experience: Demonstrated ability to handle general math
• Minimum 1 year retail sales experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with POS systems preferred
