Job summary

The Rescue Mission in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a full-time Retail Associate for Treasure House. The position offers a 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday–Saturday schedule and a starting wage of $14.00/hour.

We Have One Full-time Opening For Retail Associate At Treasure House. The Starting Wage For This Position Is $14.00/hour. Below Is The Schedule We Are Currently Looking To Fill

• Full-time, Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Position Description

The retail associate performs a combination of material handling and cashiering duties. Many of these duties involve moderately physical work. The Retail Associate should have the heart of a servant in accordance with Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to donors and/or customers while cashiering and performing other functions within the retail environment.
• Answer phones, sort, clean, evaluate, price and prep donations for sale on sales floor at expected rate of production.
• Maintain a clean workstation, perform basic housekeeping duties and assist with stocking the sales floor.
• Provide support to other departments as needed, including work that is moderately physical.

Other Duties

• Attend quarterly All Staff meetings.

Education Training And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
