Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated food service/meal preparation role to support patient meals in a hospital setting. You will prepare and assemble hot and cold items, follow standardized recipes, and ensure meals are delivered accurately to patients.

The job requires maintaining sanitation, inventory records, and operating cafe registers as part of daily duties. Join our team to contribute to patient care through nutritious meals, while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
