Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is hiring for a full-time Day shift food service role. Prepare and assemble meals, stock and sanitize pantries, and deliver patient trays with proper ID procedures. Maintain clean workstations and operate dishroom and café registers.

Some duties may vary to ensure efficient service. Requires High School diploma or GED and 1+ year in food service; ServeSafe preferred. English fluency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• 1+ year in food service or cashiering (Preferred).
• ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items and beverages.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments.
• Serve meals on tray lines and deliver patient trays with proper ID protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors and equipment.
• Operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers and process transactions accurately.
• Monitor sanitation logs and temperature records; take corrective actions as needed.

Job Description: Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
