General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting, assisting, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role involves performing various tasks across store areas based on business needs, with additional responsibilities as assigned to support customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety, maintain awareness, and correct unsafe conditions.
• Greet customers warmly, assist with merchandise, and handle customer inquiries courteously.
• Support store cleanliness through regular cleaning tasks.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Ensure merchandise is well-organized and promptly restocked.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard company assets.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity.

Competencies

• Manage work processes, collaborate, communicate effectively, and demonstrate leadership by example.

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements and ADA Considerations
