Job summary

Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, Inc. is seeking friendly Retail Associates to join our stores and support our mission to help people obtain meaningful employment and improve quality of life.

You will assist shoppers, handle cash, organize merchandise, and process donations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. We offer part-time and full-time roles, along with a competitive benefits package and a $300 sign-on bonus after six months for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and basic math for transactions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Customer service oriented with donation processing and store maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Goodwill Store customers to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Our Retail Stores support and even provide funding to different Goodwill programs that assist people with obtaining meaningful employment and bettering their overall quality of life.

As a Retail Associate, you would be an essential part of ensuring the success of our stores and Goodwill's mission. When a retail team member assists a Goodwill shopper find a treasure on the shelves, they aren't just providing excellent customer service but also helping others in the community.

Positions Available: Part Time and Full Time! Open availability preferred!

$300 Sign-On Bonus!

Earn a $300 sign-on bonus for joining our team! Eligible full-time and part-time new hires receive $300 after completing 6 months of continuous employment. Employees must be in good standing at time of payout.

• Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary (especially if a full-time schedule is desired)
