Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is hiring Full-Time Retail Associate for our Birch Run store at the Birch Run Outlet Center, 12155 S Beyer Rd., Suite H040, Birch Run, Michigan. The role offers $15.00 per hour plus a 20% discount on in-store purchases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maximizing store sales and help increase the profit of Goodwill.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer/donor service.
• Cashier: operate cash register and related duties per policy; manage rack counts.
• Processor: price, sort and display merchandise per guidelines; maintain gloves usage.
• Rack Runner: place merchandise in correct location by color and type.
• Retail Donation Attendant: greet donors, assist with donations, keep records organized.
• Retail Custodian: clean sales floor/restrooms, manage debris, follow glove policy.
• Provide EXCELLENT customer service with a SMILE!

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill Full-Time Retail Associate positions at our Birch Run store
located in the Birch run Outlet Center
at 12155 S Beyer Rd., Suite H040, Birch run, Michigan.

$15.00 an hour plus

20% discount on in-store purchases !!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in maximizing store sales and help increase the profit of Goodwill.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer/donor service.
• To achieve expectations for task assigned:
  • Cashier : Accurately operate cash register and conduct sales-related functionsas directed and according to policy, procedure and job standards; maintain cash register variance to Goodwill's acceptable margin of error rate; run 3 racks per hour. Run 5 racks per hour if not on register.
  • Processor : Receive, process, price, and display merchandise as directedand according to policy, procedure and job standards; achieve production standard of 85-100 pieces per hour. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves while sorting product.
  • Rack Runner: Run 5 racks per hour, getting product into proper place and color.
  • Retail Donation Attendant: Greet donors, assist with donations safely and professionally. Maintain accurate donation and bill of lading records, Keep donation area organized, Assist with truck loading/unloading. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves.
  • Retail Custodian: Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restroomsand breakroom. Empty trash, clean fixtures and shelving. Keep exterior areas clear of debris. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves when handling chemicals.
  • Provided EXCELLENT customer service with a SMILE!
