Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager at the Ted Baker - Bloomingdales Concession, focusing on sales, customer service, and daily operations. This role involves leading by example, motivating staff, managing inventory, and ensuring operational standards are met. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, passionate about retail, and committed to excellence.

Essential Functions

People

• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure store excellence.
• Promote team participation and uphold high standards of presentation.
• Support staff training, development, and onboarding.
• Provide performance feedback and motivate the team.
• Assist in recruitment and succession planning.
• Build relationships with store partners.

Product

• Stay informed about product details and trends.
• Ensure merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Communicate product needs to enhance store performance.

Commercial

• Maximize sales and ensure team adherence to sales protocols.
• Drive performance towards KPIs and manage profit and loss elements.
• Encourage database building and clienteling.
• Support marketing initiatives and analyze market trends.

Operations

• Manage communications, delegate tasks, and support health and safety.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention.
• Handle cash and banking procedures accurately.
• Ensure daily operations comply with policies.

Qualifications/Requirements

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
