Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead Sales Associates and Supervisors, driving engagement and brand loyalty. You will train teams on products, technology, and selling skills to influence consumer purchases and profitability while modeling inclusive leadership.

You will support the Store Manager in staffing, scheduling, and operations, ensuring strong customer service, stock integrity, and adherence to safety standards across a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in store leadership or related role.
• Experience coaching and developing Sales Associates and Supervisors.
• Strong communication and teamwork to drive store performance.
• Ability to guide actions that improve consumer engagement and sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a diverse staff to meet performance standards.
• Create engaging customer experiences and deepen product knowledge.
• Train and coach selling skills to influence purchase decisions.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring and onboarding.
• Contribute to action plans for sales and operations improvements.
• Develop weekly schedules to hit labor and expense targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink controls.
