Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Store Leadership Team. You will work to ensure effective store operations, drive customer service, and bolster sales while supporting the Store Manager in daily leadership and performance management.

No specific education is required beyond a high school diploma or GED; 5+ years in related roles and experience with POS systems and in-store tech are preferred.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in the position or related role.
• Experience operating a POS system and other in-store computer systems, plus use of telephone for communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching and direction to ensure staff performance standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective replenishment and communication.
