Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear; consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence and supervise staff accordingly.
• Support personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation; provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met; keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual and promote merchandise and services offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures and standards; protect company assets and internal controls.
