Job summary

MINISO USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, coach a team, and drive sales performance. You will ensure high standards in service, merchandising, and policies while promoting MINISO membership to boost loyalty and revenue.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a track record in retail management. Willingness to travel between locations is a plus and relocation may be needed to support multiple stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in retail management leading teams.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team of Shift Leads and Sales Associates.
• Promote the mission and core values of MINISO in daily work.
• Support Store Manager in operations, customer service, merchandising, and procedures to drive sales and productivity.
• Engage customers through MINISO membership program; encourage sign-ups and loyalty.
• Mentor trainee associates; help achieve sales targets and business growth.
• Assist with inventory management, shipments, damages, returns, and supplies.
• Support recruitment, training, staffing, and retention of store talent.
• Assist with staff scheduling, policy adherence, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.
• Provide constructive feedback to foster growth and accountability within the team.
• Coordinate with Loss Prevention to address shrink in line with policy.
• Train and motivate the sales team to meet targets; monitor performance.
• Oversee cash handling and adherence to SOPs; maintain a safe store environment.
