Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Missouri to help manage day-to-day operations and lead store personnel. The role focuses on customer-first service, merchandising execution, and ensuring financial accuracy.

The candidate will assist with scheduling, training, safety, and compliance while helping to maximize profitability and protect assets. A strong, proactive attitude and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead customer-facing teams in a retail setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to store policies and procedures; accurate cash handling.
• Ability to interpret store documents and safety instructions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and math calculation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees; conduct safety meetings.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; control damages, markdowns and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms and merchandising presentation as directed.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
