Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a Scottsdale, AZ location. The role combines a base hourly wage ($18.00–$21.00) with commission incentives on productivity and store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week
• Cash handling experience required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, follow procedures to protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication of goals.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Communicate clearly with employees to convey the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Serve as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Other duties as assigned.
